Here's how to route all that automation through Snowpad's Indian mobile IPs.
Configuring the Proxy
- Log in to PhantomBuster
- Go to Settings → Proxy
- Select SOCKS5 as the proxy type
- Enter the host:
gw.snowpad.io - Enter the port:
9999 - Add your Snowpad username and password
- Click Save
Once saved, every Phantom you run will connect through Snowpad's gateway. No per-Phantom configuration needed.
Sticky vs Rotating Proxies
This is the most important decision for PhantomBuster users:
Use sticky proxies for logged-in sessions. LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram track your IP during a session. If it changes mid-session, you'll get flagged, logged out, or blocked. Snowpad's sticky mode keeps the same IP for the entire session.
Use rotating proxies for public data extraction. If you're scraping public profiles or search results without logging in, rotating IPs helps distribute requests and avoid rate limits.
Snowpad supports both modes. Configure your preference in your Snowpad dashboard.
LinkedIn Automation with Snowpad
LinkedIn is PhantomBuster's most popular use case. Snowpad's Indian mobile IPs are particularly effective here because:
- LinkedIn treats mobile IPs more leniently than datacenter IPs
- Indian mobile IPs are less likely to be in LinkedIn's blocklists
- Sticky sessions maintain the same IP for the duration of your LinkedIn automation
