OpenBullet is a powerful web automation and testing tool. It's designed for running configurable "bots" that automate web interactions — form submissions, content checking, account management, and more.
Here's how to route all that traffic through Snowpad's Indian mobile IPs.
Importing Snowpad Proxies
- Open OpenBullet 2
- Go to the Proxies tab
- Click Import → Manual
- Select protocol: SOCKS5
- Enter the proxy:
gw.snowpad.io:9999 - Add credentials:
username:password - Click Add
For multiple Snowpad accounts, add each one as a separate proxy entry. OpenBullet will test each one and mark working proxies as valid.
Configuring Your Bot
In your bot configuration:
- Go to Proxy Settings
- Set proxy mode to On or Only
- Select SOCKS5 as the protocol
- Choose rotation mode: Round Robin or Random
- Set max use per proxy (recommended: 1-5)
The bot will now use a different Snowpad IP for each request, preventing rate-limiting and IP-based blocking.
Monitoring Performance
OpenBullet's stats panel shows:
- Success rate per proxy
- Response time per proxy
- Total requests per proxy
- Errors and failures
Use this data to identify underperforming proxies and adjust your pool. Snowpad's gateway typically delivers 95%+ success rates on Indian-targeted sites.
Responsible Use
OpenBullet is a tool. Like any tool, it can be used for good or bad. Always:
- Respect
robots.txtand terms of service - Implement rate limiting (don't hammer sites)
- Use Snowpad proxies for legitimate automation and testing
- Follow applicable laws in your jurisdiction

Why Snowpad for OpenBullet?
Snowpad's mobile IPs are ideal for OpenBullet because:
- Real mobile carriers: Jio, Airtel, BSNL — not datacenter IPs
- High success rates: Indian mobile IPs rarely get blocked
- Simple integration: SOCKS5 with auth works out of the box
- Per-GB billing: Pay only for data used
