MaskFog is one of those anti-detect browsers that does not get enough attention. It has this granular fingerprint customization panel that lets you tweak everything from WebGL vendor to audio sample rate. If you are the type who wants to control every signal your browser emits, MaskFog is your tool.
I have been running it with Snowpad's mobile proxies for a few months now, and the combination is solid. Here is the setup.
Why MaskFog?
Most anti-detect browsers give you a few preset fingerprint profiles. MaskFog lets you drill down into individual fingerprint vectors:
- WebGL: Spoof the renderer, vendor, and supported extensions
- Canvas: Customize the canvas fingerprint hash per profile
- Audio: Randomize AudioContext sample rate and channel count
- Fonts: Control which system fonts are exposed
- Screen: Set resolution, color depth, and pixel ratio
This level of control matters when you are targeting platforms that compare fingerprint signals against each other for consistency checks.
Proxy Configuration
Creating a profile with Snowpad proxies takes about 30 seconds:
- Open MaskFog and click Create Profile
- Give it a name and select your OS (set to Android to match mobile IPs)
- Navigate to Proxy Settings
- Choose SOCKS5 as the proxy type
- Enter
gw.snowpad.ioas the host and9999as the port - Enter your Snowpad username and password
- Click Check Proxy to verify the connection
Fingerprint Matching
Here is the part most people skip: your browser fingerprint must match your proxy location. If Snowpad gives you an Indian mobile IP but your browser reports a Windows timezone, you will trigger fraud detection.
In MaskFog's fingerprint settings:
- Set OS to Android
- Set Timezone to Asia/Kolkata (UTC+5:30)
- Set Language to en-IN or hi-IN
- Enable WebRTC leak protection
Sticky vs Rotating
For account logins, use Snowpad's sticky proxies. The same IP every time means platforms see consistent behavior. For research and data gathering, switch to rotating proxies — each request gets a fresh Indian mobile IP.
MaskFog stores the proxy config per profile, so you can have sticky profiles for your main accounts and rotating profiles for research.
Why This Combo Works
MaskFog handles the browser layer. Snowpad handles the network layer. Together, they cover every vector a modern anti-bot system checks.
